Monthly Gay Happy Hour

Our monthly Happy Hour is scheduled for this coming Friday, February 6th, 5:30 PM at Jorge's Tex-Mex Restaurant in the One Art's Plaza complex.

Our happy hours are free and open to the public. You must be male and gay to attend.

Aside from all the other wonderful benefits, I am adding one more that I think will make you smile. FMO is going to have 4 private parties per calendar year...approximately quarterly. The cost to attend each party will be $20 per person.

As a Platinum Member, you will pay NOTHING to attend.

You will also have the privilege of inviting one guest to attend with you free of charge for one party. After attending once, guests will be invited to join if they wish to continue attending FMO events.

Metaphysical Study Group Changes Format

The discussions in this group are great! I always walk away with something meaningful and I have a chance to connect with some really great guys. After several months of meeting, I have realized that because members come and go in the group, it makes it rather difficult to follow a specific book. So, I thought we would try something different.

I would like to see what happens with just a general metaphysical study group. Members can certainly bring in a book or other source that they want to share by maybe reading a certain meaningful passage and then offering it up for discussion.

The conversation always seems to take on a life of its own and goes where it needs to go. Everyone has something to contribute. Attendees can share or they can sit quietly and listen...whatever works for each member.

If you haven't been to one of these meeting, I encourage you to check it out. What have you got to loose? You may learn something and meet some nice men to boot...

Exploring FMO...Do You Like to Travel?

Blogging....I'm never quite sure what to write when I have tried to blog. I hope maybe to just keep FMO members informed of what's new and what's not...I mean hot! : )

We continue to grow with each day and I am very excited about the direction that FMO is going. If I could ask for one wish, it would be that members take the time to really explore our new web site. It is so rich with useful information. It gives each member a means of connecting with other members either online or at our events. If you can make the time, just go through each link on both the Home menu and the Member Area menu. You may be surprised at what you learn.

I am also very excited to report that I am planning Group Travel for FMO in 2009! Start saving your vacation cash now so you can participate with your FMO buddies when we get that first trip on the calendar...stay tuned! If Group Travel is well received by members, I hope to make it an integral part of our activities.
